UI / UX Designer About The Job
We are hiring for a UI / UX designer with 3 years of experience. We value design tremendously as a company so you will be an integral part of the team.Our design principles are minimal, clean and sleek, which support our main goal of making our app incredibly intuitive for users.
Your design work here will largely be feature-oriented. Examples of recent projects you would have been involved with :
Freemium product for our AI generated meal plans
Referral program we are A / B testing with consumers
Integrating AI into the creator onboarding flow to decrease time to launch
We are a marketplace so you will be designing for :
Consumers, who discover, purchase and complete fitness challenges on platform
Influencers, who create, host and sell their fitness challenges on platform
The team :
We are a startup, you will be our 15th hire and 1st hire to the design team
You will work very closely with Paul (one of our founders who has done all design work to date); the two of you will make up the design team
You will also work closely with Michael (head of product) and the development team
A bit more :
90% of your work will be in our mobile app; ~10% will be desktop and mobile browser
We prefer to learn quickly through idea iteration and testing new concepts vs. excessive amounts of customer calls or data analyzation, fully built out prototypes, etc. (we do these things, but in moderation)
Ideally you have a passion for wellness and fitness to align with our mission (make the world a healthier place)
Requirements :
Expert in Figma (we exclusively use Figma)
We are in-office Mon-Fri 8 : 45a-6pm (our office is on Abbot Kinney in Venice). No exceptions.
