We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney specializing in Creditor's Rights, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, and Real Estate Law to join our legal team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to creditor's rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and real estate law.
- Manage all aspects of foreclosure proceedings, including drafting and filing legal documents, conducting foreclosure sales, and representing clients in court hearings.
- Assist clients with debt collection efforts, negotiating settlements, and enforcing creditor's rights.
- Handle bankruptcy cases from inception to resolution, including analyzing financial documents, filing petitions, and representing clients in bankruptcy court.
- Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare legal memoranda and briefs.
- Provide guidance and support to junior attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and client records.
- Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting creditor's rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and real estate matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the MD, DC, and/or VA state bar and in good standing with the state bar association.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on creditor's rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and real estate law.
- Strong understanding of state and federal laws governing creditor's rights, foreclosure proceedings, bankruptcy code, and real estate transactions.
- Excellent litigation skills with experience representing clients in court proceedings.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and delivering results for clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a law firm specializing in creditor's rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or real estate law.
- Additional certifications or training in bankruptcy law or real estate law.
- Demonstrated success in handling complex legal matters and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring junior attorneys and support staff.
