Job Summary: The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the industrial sludge management sector. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions to address their sludge drying requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of wastewater treatment and sludge management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential clients and understand industry trends within the U.S. sludge drying market.
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate new business leads, focusing on industries that produce hazardous sludge.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, understanding their needs and presenting appropriate solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value of our sludge drying solutions.
- Negotiation: Manage contract negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and operations teams to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions, providing regular reports to senior management on progress and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the wastewater treatment or industrial waste management sectors.
