Job Overview :
We are seeking a Water Resource Engineer with expertise in CVP (Central Valley Project), SWP (State Water Project), and the Sacramento-San Joaquin Bay / Delta Estuary . The ideal candidate should have a PE license or be an EIT with the intent to obtain a PE in California.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze water supply impacts from regulatory actions affecting CVP operations.
- Develop and implement hydrologic and operational strategies for water management.
- Utilize hydrodynamic modeling tools such as CALSIM, DSM2, and WEAP.
- Provide technical reports, recommendations, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with state, federal, and local agencies on water policy and planning.
- Manage water transfers, conservation projects, and environmental compliance efforts .
