Recruits Lab is committed to providing high-quality products and services to our customers. As a Senior Farm Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and welfare of animals at our 40-acre antibody production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of animal care and use program to ensure compliance with animal welfare standards and applicable regulations.
- Management of program of veterinary care, including provision of veterinary oversight for all clinical treatments and programs.
- Institutional membership, acting as a voting member on the IACUC.
- Support for CAPA program, assisting in preparation of investigation reports.
- Staff training, providing instruction on routine clinical procedures.
- Clinical treatments, prescribing and directing as needed.
- Production and husbandry oversight, supervising personnel to ensure smooth operation of the farm.
Education & Certification:
- Doctoral degree in veterinary medicine required.
- Pennsylvania veterinary license required.
- Minimum 5 years in a veterinary practice, with at least 5 years of experience working with laboratory animals.
