Requirements
- Program Engineer shall be responsible for success of tasks and actions required of the support staff for all aspects of service desk, field technician, travel team, and DAS
- Project management staff shall coordinate the schedule of tasks and actions to ensure goals are met and objectives are achieved
- Project management staff shall have experience coordinating critical mission projects that have technical dependency deadlines and integration requirements that have to be followed for successful outcomes
- All program and project staff shall be 5 years’ experience with the following software:
- Microsoft software products to include:
- Project
- Teams
- Office 365
- Adobe Acrobat Full Edition
- Provides full-life cycle IT project management support to a set of less than 10 IT Projects of various sizes, scope and impact.
- Work closely with RSD staff to ensure strict adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, and to ensure successful project execution
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Create and/or facilitate the development of project documents, including project plans, requirements documentation, strategic communications, agendas, etc., as needed
- Identify project risks and issues proactively and follow up as needed to ensure prompt resolution
- Anticipate clients’ needs by identifying gaps and proposing recommendations to address them
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using agency-specific verification processes
- Manage project initiation, planning, execution and control
- As support to the PMO, coordinates with groups managing internal control reviews and processes to document, track and ensure completion of findings and actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology or related field.
- Min. 5 years’ experience managing and monitoring comprehensive projects in an IT portfolio of various sizes, including ones that are enterprise-wide
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired (but not required)
- Must have strong customer service orientation, project leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead an agile team assigned to the various projects through strong leadership, engagement, and team collaboration.
- Must be comfortable in an “agile” work environment with the ability to operate in a nimble, flexible way with the overall goal of yielding success for “a team.”
- Must have excellent writing, communication and organization skills
- Must be flexible in approach in delivery of work.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite required (expert level required)
