Algona, Iowa, Family Medicine - Obstetrics Job Clinical Role :
Candidates must be Board Eligible (with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine AND OB Fellowship-trained (fellowship must be completed prior to start)
- Must be able to perform C-sections
- Busy practice with instant volume
- Join 8 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
- Call for OB / Hospitalist - 1 : 9; call for C-sections - 1 : 3
- Full spectrum family medicine - including surgical obstetrics, ER, and hospitalist
- Specialists available - including Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, Ortho, etc
- Lab, x-ray, sleep, MRI, CT, mammography, nuclear med, PT, RT, OT, and ER all on site
- 25-bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic
- Level III Trauma Center and regional referral teaching center
- Covering 14 counties, includes eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota
- Service area approximately 260,000
