About the Role:
- We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team on a casual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing clinical anesthesia duties, prioritizing anesthetic decisions, and administering anesthetic agents following protocols and guidelines.
- Communicating patient status to healthcare team members and coordinating staff coverage, assignments, and breaks in the surgical area.
- Demonstrating leadership through involvement in committees, education, research, and performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse anesthesia
- Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Current license in the state of practice
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire
