Algona, Iowa, Family Medicine - Obstetrics Job
Clinical Role:
- Candidates must be Board Eligible (with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine AND OB Fellowship-trained (fellowship must be completed prior to start)
- Must be able to perform C-sections
- A busy practice with a high patient volume
- Join 8 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers
- Call for OB/Hospitalist: 1:9; call for C-sections: 1:3
- A full spectrum family medicine practice, including surgical obstetrics, ER, and hospitalist services
- Specialized care is available, including cardiology, urology, GI, ENT, orthopedics, and more
- The clinic offers lab, x-ray, sleep studies, MRI, CT scans, mammography, nuclear medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and emergency services all under one roof
- The medical facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic
- The level III trauma center and regional referral teaching center provides complex care to patients in need
- The service area covers 14 counties, including 8 critical access hospitals and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota
- The population served is approximately 260,000 individuals
