West Virginia Gastroenterology Position

Clinical Role:

• We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our hospital-employed team in an inpatient/outpatient setting.

• The office is based on the hospital campus, providing easy access to resources and support staff.

• Inpatient service is rotated weekly among four physicians, allowing for balanced workloads and minimal clinic responsibilities during assigned weeks.

• Call schedule: weekday call 1:5, weeknight and weekend call 1:6.

• Procedures are conducted with block scheduling to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime.

• Our group consists of two MDs, proficient in ERCP/EUS, and three APPs working together as a cohesive unit.

• While ERCP experience is preferred, it is not required; ERCP proctoring is available for those looking to develop their skills.

• Optional teaching and lecturing opportunities allow for professional growth and development.

• Our practice uses EPIC EMR, facilitating seamless communication and data management.
