- We are seeking a skilled general surgeon to provide on-going coverage at our hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with gallbladder, hernia, colorectal, and surgical oncology procedures, as well as endoscopy and laparoscopic surgeries.
- Prior experience with vascular procedures is also preferred, including trauma cases.
- The selected locum will work alongside three APPs and have access to EPIC EMR system.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide hospital rounding and call services
- Perform a variety of general surgery procedures, including gallbladder, hernia, colorectal, and surgical oncology surgeries
- Conduct endoscopy and laparoscopic surgeries
- Handle vascular procedures, including trauma cases
**Requirements:**
- Board certification in general surgery or equivalent
- Current AR medical license
- ACLS, BLS certification
- Malpractice insurance (clean preferred)
