Enterprise Application Administrator Consultant (3-month contract)

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Consultant for a project-based role to participate in the implementation and optimization of a Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) solution aimed at streamlining and harmonizing communication and collaboration technologies across the organization. This project will focus on harmonizing disparate UCC tools, enhancing communication workflows, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. The consultant will manage the project from planning to completion, aligning the UCC solution with business objectives and optimizing communication efficiency.

In This Role, You Will

• Assess existing communication and collaboration infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
• Design and implement UCC solutions using platforms like Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Zoom, and others to create a unified collaboration environment.
• Lead the configuration and deployment of UCC systems to meet specific business requirements, ensuring smooth connection with existing systems and applications.
• Provide technical leadership on UCC-related projects, ensuring successful implementation and user adoption.
• Analyze business processes and recommend optimizations for UCC tools to improve productivity and collaboration efficiency.
• Identify and resolve issues with applications when changes are made to IdPs, Google worksapce, Slack.
• Configure and migrate enterprise applications (on-prem and SaaS).
• Customize UCC platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint) to fit different organizational departments, ensuring they meet specific needs.
• Develop automated workflows between collaboration platforms to enhance productivity
• Implement strategies to improve user experience, adoption rates, and overall satisfaction with UCC tools.
• Offer ongoing strategic advice and support to clients to help them leverage their UCC investments.
• In-depth experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Teams, including managing email, file storage, and collaboration workflows.
• Strong understanding of Slack administration and workspace customization, including integrations with other collaboration tools.
• Proficiency in configuring SharePoint, setting up document libraries, workflows, and permissions.
• Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex collaboration and communication issues.
• Technical Expertise: Deep technical knowledge in UCC platforms and the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in communication technologies.
• Client-Focused: Strong understanding of business requirements and the ability to align UCC solutions with strategic business goals.
• Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
  
  

Location:

This position can be based at our headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT, or at one of our satellite offices in Toronto, ON; Montreal, QC; Remote work is also an option.

The Experience You’ll Need

• Hands-on experience managing and deploying Enterprise Applications including multiple Google Workspace
• Possess in-depth experience with Google Workspace solutions, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Meet, and Google Docs/Sheets/Slides/Calendar. Box, Sharepoint
• Experience with Google Admin Console, managing users, permissions, and security policies.
• Expert level user of GAM for managing Google workspaces
• Proven experience configuring, administering, and optimizing Slack workspaces.
• Experience migrating from legacy communication platforms to Slack, including managing user roles, permissions, and workflows.
• Experience managing and deploying Microsoft SharePoint for document management, team collaboration, and workflow automation.
• Expertise in migrating data from other document management systems (e.g., Google Drive, Box) to SharePoint.
• Knowledge of configuring and managing SharePoint
• Knowledge of managing and deploying Box for cloud storage and file collaboration, including setting up secure access, permissions, and workflows.
• Experience migrating documents and data from Box to other platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, SharePoint), and vice versa.
• Experience in setting up automated workflows that enhance productivity, such as auto-syncing files between Google Drive and SharePoint or creating automated Slack notifications based on document updates.
• Experience implementing security policies for UCC platforms, including encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), and secure file sharing.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business users.
• Strong ability to analyze complex communication workflows and recommend solutions for improvement.
• Demonstrated experience working effectively in cross-functional teams and managing different stakeholders.
