**Job Title** Material Handler/Forklift Operator

**Location** 69 Evans Dr. Bells, TN

**Day Shift Schedule** 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week

Monday - Thursday – 7 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.

Good attendance and reliable transportation are a must!

**Position Description**

Material Handler will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently move, load, unload, stack, and relocate goods within our warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy by properly handling materials and adhering to safety regulations. Employee will also, be responsible for the loading, unloading and/or sorting of products by hand, which includes lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying in a fast-paced and efficient manner. Material Handler may be assigned to or rotate through various areas and positions at our company as needed.

**Requirements and Responsibilities**

• Forklift experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass a Federal and State background check and Drug test.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly to provide a safe work environment.
• Safely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment to carry out job duties to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate with warehouse receiving manager with any issues or concerns that arise regarding products.
• Performing other duties and tasks not listed as requested by supervisors.
• Load and unload boxes/products onto or from storage shelves and conveyor systems.
• Bail empty cardboard boxes for recycling.
• Lift, pick, sort and place product on a continuous and repetitive basis for approximate 10 hours shifts.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions regarding work duties and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages and products correctly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team.
• Must be able to push and pull up to 150lbs
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25-40lbs.
• Must be able to constantly bend, reach, climb and stand throughout shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
