Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. The Order Picker will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and inventory management.
Duties
- Accurately pick products from designated locations within the warehouse based on order specifications.
- Use handheld scanners or other technology to track inventory and ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, following company guidelines for packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and handheld scanning devices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods while performing tasks.
