Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Operations Efficiency Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse and driver efficiency, as well as overall production and processes. This individual will be responsible for driving improvements across all operational levels and in multiple locations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or similar principles to enhance efficiency, eliminate waste, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor onsite managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives across people, processes, and production workflows using Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen like principles.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across all operational areas, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance labor efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
- Optimize and maintain organization within warehouses and production areas to ensure efficient operations and effective use of space.
- Ensure proper management and availability of on-hand parts and supplies to minimize downtime and support smooth operations.
- Drive performance-based pay systems, production targets, goal-setting frameworks, and measurable performance reviews.
- Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, establish benchmarks, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to align objectives and achieve company-wide improvements.
- Lead the design and execution of initiatives that streamline sorting, loading, and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations across all operational areas.
- Train and mentor staff on Lean and Kaizen like practices to embed these principles into the company’s operational culture.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operational management or process improvement in a logistics, manufacturing, or recycling environment.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams at multiple levels.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen like principles, with a track record of applying them successfully across diverse operational areas.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of performance-based pay structures, production metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with commercial vehicle operations and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bilingual is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
