Key Responsibilities

Retail Management:

• Lead the charge in overseeing all retail operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory control.
• Ensure the store is always stocked, visually striking, and a shopping experience that sparks excitement.
• Recruit, train, and inspire a top-tier retail team, fostering a high-energy, customer-focused environment.
• Drive sales performance and implement explosive strategies to surpass revenue targets.
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and concerns with a problem-solving mindset that ensures customer satisfaction.
• Develop and enforce operational policies to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee all warehouse functions, from inventory management to receiving and stocking shipments.
• Ensure the warehouse is secure, organized, and adheres to all safety and compliance regulations.
• Manage smooth inventory transfers between the warehouse and retail floor, keeping stock levels accurate.
• Lead the warehouse team in order processing, shipping, receiving, and conducting regular inventory audits.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to keep product flow seamless and efficient.
• Maintain strict safety protocols for handling, storing, and disposing of fireworks in accordance with local regulations.

Leadership & Team Management:

• Build, coach, and lead a high-performing retail and warehouse team.
• Strategically schedule staff to ensure peak performance during high-traffic periods, holidays, and special events.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, enthusiasm, and collaboration between the retail and warehouse teams.
• Conduct regular team meetings to assess performance, set goals, and celebrate wins.

Operational Efficiency:

• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and operational flow.
• Monitor daily operations, proactively addressing inefficiencies to reduce costs and maximize output.
• Ensure all operations align with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in both retail and warehouse operations—fireworks or related industries preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Expertise in inventory control, stock management, and merchandising strategies.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, particularly regarding hazardous materials like fireworks.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and office software (MS Office, inventory management tools, etc.).
• Physically capable of lifting and moving inventory within both retail and warehouse settings.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing both retail and warehouse teams in a fast-moving industry.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and storage of fireworks.
