Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, particularly in settings that cater to individuals with dementia and memory care needs. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance staff including concierge, porters and handypersons
- Oversee all cleaning and maintenance repair work to ensure a safe and comfortable environment Work Collaboratively with property manager on staff performance, evaluation and discipline
- Respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day 7 days a week
- Maintain all excel logs, records, and statistics relative to the building & mechanical equipment, inventory of tools, and maintenance department supplies
- Use professional skillset in assessing building functionality, identifying and prioritizing needed repairs and upgrades, identify need for outside contracting services, oversee and approve work performed by outside contractors
- Preparation of vacant units/ turn overs, maintain log of replacement items in units, accurate tracking of tenant move-in and move-out dates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Building Superintendent in a new construction residential housing complex.
- Must have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must have FDNY Certification in standpipe, sprinkler, and fire safety director
- Expertise in HVAC , BMS, carpentry, electrical, locksmith, and plumbing.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings and weekends.
