Systems Engineer

Red Arch Solutions (RAS) is hiring for our prime contract!  

RAS will be maintaining and improving on our customer's current system and providing services and expertise to modernize using the latest cloud technologies.  

The Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) will facilitate the transition and retirement of duplicative and legacy data services and provide an automated, modernized, enterprise data platform within a secure environment. EDP will enable our customer to expose its data to a wider audience through a zero-trust based, data centric architecture and a robust data governance policy/implementation approach, freeing data from data silos and allowing more users to gain valuable insights from customer data assets. 

We need a Principal level Systems Engineer to join our team!  

Position: Principal System Engineer
Position Details:
The Principal System Engineer will be vital in engaging with government clients, analysts, data stewards, resource owners, and data consumers to understand their data needs and promote the platform as a collaborative and efficient data-sharing resource. This individual will serve as a bridge between stakeholders and the data engineering team, ensuring data requirements are clearly defined and effectively implemented.
Key responsibilities include:

• Building relationships with stakeholders to understand their data challenges, priorities, and opportunities for collaboration.
• Communicating the value and capabilities of the platform, highlighting its role in streamlining data access and sharing.
• Gathering and translating stakeholder needs into clear, actionable requirements for the data engineering team.
• Advocating for best practices in data management, accessibility, and security.
• Facilitating discussions, workshops, and presentations to demonstrate how the platform supports mission objectives.
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure a seamless user experience and address stakeholder feedback.
• Supporting outreach efforts to drive engagement, adoption, and continuous improvement of data-sharing solutions.

• Bachelor’s Degree 16 years of experience, Master’s Degree 14 years, or 20 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for a broad audience.
• Experience advocating for technology adoption and promoting collaboration across teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and facilitate productive discussions around data needs and solutions.

**TS/SCI with Poly is required for this position**  
Salary range for this position: $195-220K #CJ
