Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our team at Red Barn Service LLC. As an HVAC and Electrical Intern, you will have the opportunity to assist with residential and commercial installs, expand your skill set, and build a successful career.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products
• Provide assistance to onsite tradespeople such as HVAC Techs and Electricians
• Transport materials and equipment from one location to another
• Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment
• Set up cones and warning signs to increase visibility
• Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding
• Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor
Requirements:
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
• Computer and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen and a background check upon hire
