Firearms Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gunsmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of firearms, their components, and the necessary skills to repair, modify, and maintain various types of guns. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards in all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and modifications on firearms, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on guns to identify potential issues.
• Utilize specialized tools and equipment for gun assembly and disassembly.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on firearm care.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, modifications, and inventory management.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices while working with firearms.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in gunsmithing.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Gunsmith or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various types of firearms, including handguns, rifles, and shotguns.
• Familiarity with gunsmithing tools and techniques is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Certification or training in gunsmithing is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
