Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities:

• Assist with install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinkler systems, drip irrigation, and controllers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues such as leaks, low water pressure, and faulty equipment.
• Perform regular system inspections to ensure proper function and efficiency.
• Adjust irrigation systems to optimize water usage and coverage.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate directly with customers to address concerns and provide recommendations.
• Work with the team to manage and complete projects on time.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in irrigation installation, maintenance, or repair is preferred.
• Familiarity with various types of irrigation systems and components (sprinklers, controllers, valves, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Irrigation certification (such as from the Irrigation Association) is a plus but not required.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
