As a Skilled Carpenter, you will play a vital role in our construction projects, ensuring precision and quality in every build. You'll work with a team of professionals to bring our designs to life, utilizing your carpentry expertise to complete high-quality outdoor construction projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and install custom decks, pergolas, and other outdoor structures with precision and craftsmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Assist in framing, siding, and trim work, ensuring a seamless finish on all projects.
- Work closely with project managers and fellow carpenters to ensure job completion on schedule and within quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site while following all safety regulations and procedures.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company and client expectations.
- Occasionally communicate with clients in a professional manner regarding project details.
- 3 or more years of carpentry experience, preferably in residential or outdoor construction.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Mobile and Baldwin County.
- A strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
