What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at Red Bull Media House?
As part of the production management team, the role of the Production Manager is to ensure a production is made and delivered as smoothly, efficiently, safely, within budget to the designated deadline with a focus on ‘on-the-ground production’ and support. Reporting to the Senior Production Manager of Southeast region, the Production Manager will manage a slate of production crew, including freelancer coordinators, production assistants and compliance teams, overall logistic planning and coordination and scheduling.
The Production Manager is responsible for a slate of programming, which involves both in house produced material and external commissions through production partners. You may manage a team both internal and external coordinators to ensure the delivery of the programming to the designated deadline.
Most of what the Production Manager does is common sense: to have an eye for details and fight the fires when things don’t quite go to plan! Involved in every stage of a production from initial planning, budgeting, schedules and contract negotiations, the Production Manager has an oversight during and after final delivery that all contractual obligations are met.

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION
Oversees every stage of a production from initial planning, budgeting, schedules and contract negotiations On-site production management, including management of production crews, scheduling, budget and risk management and legal & risk compliance. Collaborate with key stakeholders, safety and risk management, finance, post production operations, production technologies, talent, legal and all other internal departments to ensure the highest quality production. Manage relationships with external production partners, talent, and agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
TEAM MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
Supporting the Sr. Manager of Production Management in driving innovation and continuous improvement throughout the production lifecycle Responsible for sourcing and developing a strong network of experienced production partners, vendors and talent to work with.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION
Managing a slate of programming from development through to delivery made up of in-house, commissioned, live and non-live programming. The Production Manager responsible for monthly forecasting of current projects, collecting and communicating all information from external partners and internal productions. Communicate project budget, budget risks and opportunities to key stakeholders both in the regions and in Santa Monica. Provide regular updates on project status and progress to senior management.

The base salary range for this position is $85,600 - $128,400 cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.

- Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Communications, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in content production, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering high-quality content projects.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape in the Southeast US, including relationships with production companies, talent, and agencies.
- Experience managing and developing a team of creative professionals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Creative vision and storytelling ability.
- Deep understanding of production processes and workflows.
