The role of the Sr. Production Manager is to make sure a production is made and delivered smoothly, efficiently, safely, and within budget against the designated deadline.
Working alongside the Director of Midwest Region Production to oversee the strategic and organizational planning of the production process, the Production Manager is responsible for a slate of programming, which involves both in-house-produced material and external commissions through production partners. You may manage a team, including both internal and external coordinators, to ensure the delivery of the programming against the designated deadline.
Most of what Production Managers do is common sense : to have an eye for details and fight the fires when things don't quite go to plan! Involved in every stage of a production from initial planning, budgeting, schedules and contract negotiations, the Production Manager has an oversight during and after final delivery that all contractual obligations are met.

- 5 years experience in production management or line producing.
- A proven track record of managing both a slate of programs as well as third party companies.
- A track record of delivering successful commissions

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
