What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President, 7-ELEVEN position at Red Bull North America?
As the Vice President, 7-Eleven, your role is to implement Red Bull North America (RBNA) goals - both quantitative (revenue, volume, profit, and share) and qualitative (in store presence, executive level wiring and training) within 7-Eleven. You will lead all facets of RBNA's business within 7-Eleven and owned banners (Speedway, Stripes). You will deliver the right programs, resources and direction to ensure the 7-Eleven team can exceed their financial, volumetric, and targets for success. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Small Format Sales, and be located in Dallas, Texas.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Expand allSTRATEGIC PLANNING
Contribute to our long-term small format channel strategies and direction.
Aggregate and analyze large amounts of complex data quickly, and distill that data into clear, viable action plans for retailer.
Allocate resources where the investment has the highest payback within each banner/division.
Guide our annual business planning process, both internally and through formal, Joint Business Planning with the customer.
Monitor market trends and maintain data on competition.
ACCOUNT LEADERSHIP & RELATIONSHIPS
Improve our relationships within 7-Eleven by adding value through expertise and strategic partnerships.
Evaluate Return on investment and investment for each banner, and make appropriate adjustments.
Issue clear direction and guidelines with regards to priorities - both qualitative and quantitative - both internally and externally.
Develop and implement the strategies, tactics, and programs required to win at 7-Eleven in a manner that is consistent with channel strategy and to support retailer priorities.
CROSS FUNCTIONAL AND FIELD PARTNERSHIPS
Contribute to our Small Format Leadership Team discussions within RBNA to ensure retailer representation and influence of overall channel strategy.
Lead all matters for retailer regarding Key Accounts to Santa Monica Sales & Distribution teams and be the voice of RBNA/BU to counterparts in Brand Marketing.
Align and implement associated team goals across RBNA within zones to ensure full power of brand is activated at retail.
Work with RBNA General Managers and Sr. Directors, Distribution to implement all retailer programs in local markets, taking advantage of local marketing plans to lead national retailer performance
Lead all efforts involving cross-functional plans (shopper marketing, product, pricing, etc.), working closely with field teams.
LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT
Ensure career and personal development for entire organization.
Assist National Account Managers to develop successful programs.
Spend time with your team both in office and out in the field to deploy Red Bull standards.
Lead your team to develop thought-leading projects and insights that impact national strategy.
CUSTOMER PROFITABILITY MANAGEMENT (CPM)
Lead our priorities, goals, and results across CPM
- Minimum 10 years-experience in CPG sales; food or beverage experience
- Experience in Key, Regional or National account management required
- Experience working with a DSD network
- Negotiation experience
- Leadership experience
- Knowledge of consumer marketing principles. Experience supporting and facilitating cross-departmental interdependencies, across sales and marketing.
