Company Description
The Shopper & Category Insights team at Red Bull North America (RBNA) is the HQ strategic arm of the broader Insights & Category Development team. As the Manager of Shopper Insights, you will deepen RBNA shopper knowledge, identify strengths to use, gaps to narrow, and opportunities to differentiate and achieve growth for Red Bull North America's (RBNA) important national and regional accounts. You will partners with important partners in Category Development and Sales to build holistic analysis and selling stories for our field Category & Sales teams, using the many data sources and research opportunities at the team's disposal. You will report to the Senior Manager, Shopper Insights Manager, and be located in Santa Monica, CA.
Job Description
SHOPPER RESEARCH & DATA MANAGEMENT
Help manage shopper data vendors and Red Bull internal usage of and output from important partners like Numerator, IRI/Nielsen Shopper data, Retailer specific loyalty card data portals, and Sense360 or similar.
Help with ongoing ad-hoc and custom research projects from brainstorming to deck development to presentation.
Independently design shopper insights materials and reports that grow overall team goals across the Red Bull Sales Organization, using multiple and combined data sources to identify channel and retailer-specific opportunities for the Energy Drink Category and Red Bull brand.
Manage Custom Quantitative Analyses in partnership with Category Development & Retail teams for top power partner Retail accounts.
SHOPPER & CATEGORY INSIGHTS SUPPORT
Identify knowledge gaps and work with vendor partners on the execution of quantitative projects to fill those gaps.
Stay informed of shopper analytics vendors, trends, and best-practices to identify opportunities to improve resources and deliverables.
Incorporate quantitative Shopper Insights into existing and syndicated insights to create powerful, applicable, and holistic insights narratives.
COMMUNICATION AND REPORTING
Deliver regular and ad hoc Shopper Insights materials and resources providing us with a clear view of the category's shoppers and the insights to achieve category growth and support for Red Bull's strategic plans.
Communicate insights to all levels of the organization through monthly call schedules, newsletters, and internal presentations.
Build relationships across Insights, Sales and Marketing organizations to support insights communications and to share best practices and resources.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years related work experience
Experience with Shopper Panel, Survey programming/management, and Loyalty data
Knowledge of quantitative shopper data and analysis methodologies
General knowledge of syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, etc.).
Shopper research knowledge including market research methodologies, consumer behavior, and data interpretation.

The base salary range for this position is $102,000 to $113,000 cash incentives
Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience.
The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
