Field Services Manager

Evergreen Maker is a turnkey and wholesale provider of cabinets, countertops,
flooring, and hardware trim fixtures. Evergreen Maker is quickly becoming an
exclusive supplier for some of the largest builders in Charlotte & surrounding
markets. Our company is growing rapidly, and we seek a Field Services Manager
candidate to grow with us.
Position Overview
The Field Services Manager will oversee sales operations, drive revenue growth,
and ensure the highest quality standards in both products and installations.
This individual will manage client relationships, develop strategies for
expanding market share, and implement quality control processes to ensure
client satisfaction and project success.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Field Operations Management
•Oversee daily field operations, ensuring efficiency in scheduling,
coordination, and job site execution.
• Supervise and support installation crews and subcontractors to
maintain timelines and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain installation checklists to standardize processes
and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Ensure materials are delivered on time and correctly staged for
installation at job sites.
Subcontractor & Trade Base Management
• Recruit, vet, and onboard new subcontractors and installers to meet
workload demands.
• Ensure subcontractors follow safety, quality, and contractual
requirements.
• Establish a rating system for subcontractors based on performance,
adherence to schedules, and customer satisfaction.
Quality Control
• Implement and enforce quality control standards for all products and
installation services.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess installation quality and compliance
with project specifications.
• Manage a team of quality control inspectors, ensuring consistent and
accurate evaluations.
• Address and resolve any quality issues swiftly to maintain client
satisfaction and uphold company reputation.
Scheduling & Logistics
• Coordinate field scheduling with the operations and warehouse teams
to optimize delivery routes and installation sequences.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts to ensure smooth project
execution.
• Work with the purchasing and logistics teams to track inventory
availability for upcoming installations.
Safety & Compliance
• Enforce OSHA and company-specific safety protocols on job sites.
• Conduct periodic safety audits and training for installation crews.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
regarding construction site management.
Customer Service & Issue Resolution
• Serve as the primary point of contact for field-related issues, ensuring
timely responses and solutions.
Address installation defects, customer complaints, and service requests
to ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop and implement a warranty or service follow-up program to
reduce callbacks and maintain a positive client experience.
Technology & Process Improvement
• Implement and manage a field management software system to
streamline scheduling, reporting, and communication.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to installation
efficiency, defect rates, and job completion times.
• Work closely with leadership to improve operational processes and
enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in construction project and quality assurance
within the building materials or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of building materials, specifically cabinets,
flooring, door hardware, bath accessories, wire shelving, and shower
doors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record in sales growth and quality assurance.
