Red Cedar Consultancy, LLC, a fast-growing IT services firm is currently looking for smart and self-motivated Enterprise Architect with the ability to take on and overcome challenges in a dynamic and collaborative team environment. Incumbent should have between 7-12 years of experience working as an Enterprise Architect
Job Function:
Serve as lead subject matter expert and advisor in support of establishing a modern data architecture and governance structures. Successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in assessing current state of enterprise data architecture, researching opportunities for improvements, and advising on roadmap for future state Enterprise Information and Data Architecture, Enterprise Information and Data Governance, and Enterprise Information and Data Management. EA which spans all levels (enterprise, segment, solution), multiple areas of architecture (e.g., mission/business, security, networking, applications, systems, and infrastructure), and multiple special domains (e.g., aviation security, cloud, mobile, identity management)
- Create, maintain, and guide conceptual and logical models at the enterprise, segment, and solution level, spanning multiple domains.
- Gather and analyze information and data to generate new or enhance existing enterprise views to convey as-is and to-be architecture.
- Participate in next generation planning activities for a wide range of information and data related topics, such as biometrics, geospatial, enterprise search, big data, data lakes, data mesh, data fabric, information visualization, business intelligence, and analytics.
- Provide strategic architectural services to include research and analysis of specific capabilities or technology areas, as well as emerging technologies and existing, mature technology.
- Assist with exploring the use of tools and technology in areas such as entity extraction, semantic technologies, enterprise search, entity correlation and analysis, auto-categorization, visualization, analytics, and automated taxonomy generation.
- Develop and maintain the Enterprise Lexicon, data dictionaries, taxonomy, authoritative and trusted data (ATD) sources, information and data standards, info/data categorization, and metadata schema.
- Apply and enforce architectural principles, standards, and reference models to ensure alignment of programs and projects with DHS enterprise architectures.
- Assist with data calls; preparing reports; coordinating with the DHS data governance process; developing and implementing an enterprise information and data strategy.
- Provide solution recommendation services to include conducting project, program and enterprise studies and analyses of alternatives (AoA).
- Provide EA Governance Services. Develop and execute an integrated governance model aligned with existing DHS processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience required.
- Proficient in MS office Suite including MS PowerApps, Automation, and Visio
- Strong experience in Data Modeling and EA Tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and staff.
- Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
- Ability to obtain maintain a government clearance
