The selected candidate will be responsible for growing net income and volume within the dry grocery coffee and tea, refrigerated ready to drink tea and other new product categories. The following skills are critical to success : strategic planning, analytical mindset, ability to manage existing accounts, ability to seek new opportunities in untapped accounts and markets. 100% of time will be focused on developing new account distribution.
The selected candidate will lead the promotion and direction of Red Diamond Coffee, Tea, Ready to Drink Tea and all other new products nationally. This position will have Customer Business Development responsibility for the entire portfolio of Red Diamond products sold through assigned customers as well as grow placement with new accounts across all channels. The selected candidate will coordinate development of sales objectives, strategies, and advertising and promotional programs, and ensure execution. This position will work cross functionally and with division leadership to develop overall product strategy, research and development requirements, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products. In this role, the candidate will work with marketing and category management functions to review market research, anticipate competition and market trends and translate consumer attitudes into new branding directions. In addition, this person will be a key internal company leader who will help shape the thinking on future brand innovations and programs that will drive incremental Red Diamond business with customers.
Education and Experience Required : Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 7-years experience with growing national branded consumer packaged goods company.
