Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fryer to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Fryer, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious fried foods while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Your expertise in menu planning and shift management will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the frying station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in menu planning by providing input on new fried items and seasonal offerings.
• Monitor inventory levels, performing inventory control to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during shifts, including effective shift management.
• Help train new kitchen staff on frying techniques and equipment usage as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a culinary or cooking role, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and customer service best practices.
• Ability to manage inventory effectively and maintain accurate records.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for cooking and creativity in menu planning is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, particularly fryers, is an advantage.

Pay: $17.82 - $18.22 per hour
