About the Role
Red Door Homes is looking for a Pre-Construction Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the pre-construction process, ensuring a seamless transition from contract signing to breaking ground. This role is crucial in guiding customers through site preparations, permits, and approvals while working closely with internal teams, trade partners, and municipalities.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys problem-solving. While the primary focus is on pre-construction activities, there is an opportunity to develop into a Construction Manager role over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the pre-construction phase.
- Guide customers through site preparation requirements, including permits, utilities, land clearing, and inspections.
- Work closely with engineers, surveyors, and municipalities to ensure all necessary approvals are obtained.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all pre-construction checklist items are completed before the scheduled build start date.
- Identify and address potential site challenges before construction begins.
- Ensure trade partners and vendors have all required documentation and approvals before work commences.
- Maintain accurate records and updates in project management software.
- Provide regular weekly updates to customers regarding their pre-construction progress.
