Job Brief –
Red Elephant is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer with strong conceptual thinking, visual communication skills, and a keen eye for problem-solving. Our ideal candidate will contribute to all phases of projects, including programming, schematic design, design development, and shop drawings, with a focus on Environmental Graphic Design (EGD).
Role Overview:
As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate closely with the Design Director to produce high-quality work. In this role, an understanding of architectural drawing scales and the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings are essential. A passion for manufacturing, fabrication methods, and materials is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand project requirements and goals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company vision.
- Participate in design projects from concept through various stages of completion.
- Collaborate with team members during project kick-offs and throughout the design process.
- Develop and present design packages to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Environmental Graphic Design, architectural design, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Environmental Graphic Design and wayfinding methodologies.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and CAD Tools is required.
- Solid understanding of visual elements such as layout, typography, and fonts.
- Excellent teamwork, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Creativity and strong problem-solving skills.
- Sketching and presentation skills.
- Experience with 3D software is a plus.
