Position Overview
We’re seeking a results-driven and dynamic Sales Development Manager to lead the charge in driving growth, developing client relationships, and creating new sales opportunities. In this role, you’ll be a key player in achieving revenue goals and aligning with Red Elephant’s mission to provide exceptional client experiences. Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Identify, seek, and capture opportunities with both new and existing clients to expand our reach and market presence.
- Conduct cold calls and face-to-face meetings daily to build and grow a robust client book.
Client Engagement:
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences, providing hands-on explanations of new or updated products.
- Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
Sales Excellence:
- Monitor sales metrics and consistently strive to exceed goals.
- Strategically negotiate to close deals with potential and existing customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all leads and customer interactions in the company’s CRM system.
Industry Insight:
- Stay updated on industry competitors, market conditions, and emerging trends to better understand and serve client needs.
Team Collaboration:
- Partner with inside sales, project management, and design teams to create and implement strategies aligned with company goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related role (2 years of B2B sales required; multifamily construction experience preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales technology tools.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings as needed.
