About us:
Red Fox Landscape Contractor, Inc. is a landscape & hardscape company established in 2014. We pride ourselves in providing quality care to our customers and shaping our services to meet our customer's needs. We are looking for a hardscape professional to add on to our team who will primarily take on hardscape installations not limited to paver patio installations, retaining walls, and concrete installations, but also participate in landscape installations and maintenance if necessary.
Job Locations: Northwest Suburbs of Chicago
Hours: Seasonal (Mid March through Mid December), Monday through Saturday, weather permitting. Out-of-season winter work opportunities also available if interested.
Hardscaping Responsibilities
- Hardscape installations (concrete, natural stone, and paver patios, stone walls, retaining walls, etc).
- Measuring and leveling work areas
- Ability to read Landscape plans and design
- Perform physical labor and participate in loading and unloading of materials
- Familiar with sub-base and base preparation/compaction
- Familiar with the operation of small and large construction equipment
Landscaping Responsibilities:
- Performing physical yard work
- Edging & Mowing grass
- Pruning/Trimming Shrubs, Plants, and Trees
- Installation of Trees, Plants, Bushes, Sod
- Leaf and Debris Removal
- Mulch Installation
- Drive and operate equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmer, blowers, etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
- The understanding of safe operation of equipment.
- Knowledge of plant care and maintenance (Preferred).
- Stand/Actively work up to 8 hours daily.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Perform physical yard work.
- 1-3 years landscape experience
- 1-3 years hardscape experience
- Must have a driver’s license and be able to get to and from site.
- At least 18 years old.
- Bilingual speaker preferred (English and Spanish)
Pay: Paid weekly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
