Job Title: Game Designer – Economy, Monetization, & Analytics

Red Games Co. is seeking a talented Game Designer with a strong focus on economy design, monetization strategies, and game analytics to join our team and take our games to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
Game Economy Design
- Develop and balance in-game economies, including virtual currencies, progression systems, and resource management.
- Design systems that maximize player engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Create scalable economic models that align with gameplay mechanics and user experience goals.
Monetization Strategy
- Design and implement monetization features, including in-app purchases (IAP), ad integration, and subscription models.
- Identify opportunities for player-friendly revenue streams while maintaining game balance and fairness.
- Collaborate with marketing and live ops teams to optimize sales events, promotions, and offers.
Game Analytics & Data-Driven Design
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ARPU, LTV, DAU, and retention rates.
- Use player data and analytics tools to identify areas for improvement and iterate on designs to achieve better results.
- Conduct A/B tests for monetization features and gameplay changes to measure impact.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with artists, developers, and producers to ensure seamless integration of designs into the game.
- Present designs and analytical insights to stakeholders, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging monetization techniques.
Requirements:
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of game economy design principles and monetization strategies for mobile games.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Unity Analytics, Google Analytics, Game Analytics) and working knowledge of A/B testing.
- Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, and SQL).
Experience
- 5 years of experience as a game designer or a similar role in the mobile gaming industry.
- Proven track record of designing and optimizing successful monetization features.
- Experience working on free-to-play (F2P) games is highly preferred.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to balance creative ideas with business objectives.
