Job Description
The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Reston, VA. This role requires a highly skilled developer with a strong background in agile software development, system architecture, and data-driven applications. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in information technology, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing moderately complex to highly complex software solutions that support mission-critical intelligence operations.
In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging modern development frameworks and best practices to build scalable, high-performance applications that meet the evolving needs of the intelligence community.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
Agile Development: Implement agile methodologies, best practices, and DevSecOps principles to enhance software development processes.
System Analysis & Architecture: Define problems, analyze requirements, and develop technical roadmaps for complex systems.
Data Expertise: Develop and integrate data-driven applications, ensuring efficient data management, processing, and visualization capabilities.
Security & Compliance: Ensure all software solutions adhere to federal security standards, DIA requirements, and classified data handling protocols.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with mission analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
10 years of experience in software development with expertise in front-end and back-end technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent training/experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (required).
Technical Proficiency in:
Front-end: React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
Back-end: Node.js, Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
Databases: SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Cloud Services: AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
CI/CD & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Security Best Practices: Experience developing in highly secure environments, implementing encryption, authentication, and access control measures.
