Job Description
The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Systems Analyst to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. This role is instrumental in enhancing financial data processing, management, and reporting to drive efficiency and accuracy across the enterprise. If you have a strong background in financial data systems, automation, and federal financial management, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact mission in a classified environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in financial data management, automation, and system enhancements to support the FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ).
- Develop and implement financial system solutions using VBA, SQL, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and process improvement to enhance financial reporting and data integrity.
- Support financial systems GEO-F and ORBIT, including future system enhancements and upgrades.
- Participate in system engineering meetings, design reviews, and program management discussions to ensure seamless implementation of financial solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to load quarterly budget authority and improve financial planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) processes.
- Provide technical and financial expertise to enhance Momentum-based financial systems.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Clearance (CI Poly preferred).
- 12 years of experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in financial systems analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience developing financial automation solutions using VBA, SQL, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and Excel.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Momentum-based financial systems development, testing, or enhancements.
- Strong experience in federal financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements.
Desired Qualifications:
- PMP Certification.
- 4 years of experience supporting NGA financial processes and reporting structures.
- Expertise in internal controls methodologies and federal financial management policies (DoD, IC, and USSGL standards).
- Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
