About the Job
Red Hat is seeking a Manager, Content Services to help lead our Customer Content Services (CCS) team. This manager will support our transformation to a new documentation experience and tooling platform, as well as directly manage a broad set of roles. The successful candidate will need to balance management activities (e.g., assessing performance, fostering teamwork, growth) with a strategic mindset to help align the team with corporate objectives.
Experience with documentation experiences and/or tooling platform transformations, change management, solution-minded thinking, team building and delivering content experiences will be key to moving the team forward. Developing relationships across the business will also help the team with future needs.
What You Will Do
- Ensure that the experience and tools teams understand the business strategy, are invested in departmental goals, and know how their goals align to the company strategy
- Set expectations for success and resolve issues/conflicts in day-to-day work
- Performance/developmental coaching for multiple role types (content strategists, content architects and documentation program managers)
- Lead team through changes
- Lead multiple teams in the organization through experience and tooling transformation
- Develop key relationships with stakeholders and peers across CCS
- Foster a connected and resilient team
- Help define, communicate and track CCS-wide objectives and goals and progress toward their completion
What You Will Bring
- 5 years of experience with documentation processes and leading or working with documentation teams consisting of multiple types of roles or tasks
- 2 years people management and leadership experience
- Strong product documentation experience
- Experience with transformation projects and documentation experiences and tooling preferred

The salary range for this position is $111,260.00 - $183,580.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
