To help fulfill that mission, the User Experience Design (UXD) team is looking for a User Experience Designer to participate in all aspects of the design process from participating in design thinking workshops through creating design deliverables to validating designs with stakeholders.

Our global team of researchers, designers, content designers, and developers work together to bridge the technical world to the human world with intuitive and approachable product experiences. What You Will Do
We’re looking for someone with UX design experience who can work with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and product managers to deliver desirable software experiences for Red Hat. As a User Experience Designer, you will :
- Consider an end-to-end user experience that spans product onboarding, usage, and support.
- Work with a team of researchers, designers, and front-end developers to build user experiences in your product area.
- Partner with stakeholders across Red Hat to gather business requirements and present recommendations.
- Participate in design thinking, journey mapping, or other hands-on workshops to elicit requirements, identify priorities, and inform design.
- Perform or participate in planning user research to inform or validate design decisions.
- Understand and communicate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience.
- Create mockups, wireframes, and other design deliverables using Figma, Miro, and other design tools.
- Build relationships with developers and product managers to support successful implementation.
- Identify usability issues and make solid recommendations for improvement.
- Actively participate in PatternFly, our community-built design system, as both a user and contributor.
