This position will work hand-in-hand with our Banquet Manager to execute an exceptional experience for all banqueted events. The coordinator is responsible for the setup, execution, and cleanup of events. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Key Responsibilities of the Events Coordinator:
- Manages the day of coordination of events, works closely with the front and back of house associates to ensure all events are executed to exceed expectations.
- Assists in the coordination of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Bartenders, Servers, Set Up Staff.
- Assists with setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, event areas, and related activities in an accurate and timely manner for events on property.
- Assist banquet staff throughout an event as needed (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussing tables, etc.) and following up with host at the conclusion of event.
- Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests, and follows up with the host at the end of the event.
- Conducts pre-banquet meetings with staff to ensure appearance and hygiene standards are being met; assign stations and partners; and review banquet event orders, puts out directional signage before event.
- Communicates with the Banquet Manager to ensure that all details have been planned for and met.
- Checks room set-up prior to event and meets with the Banquet Chef to confirm quantities of food items and timing of food leaving the kitchen.
- Keep tables, event rooms, and supply station(s) clean and organized.
- Listens and responds to guest needs.
- Reports directly to the Banquet Manager and completes other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 years of Banquet experience required.
- Previous experience in event planning, execution, and working banquet/catering events required.
Other Qualifications:
- Regular and reliable attendance required.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, weekends and holidays.
- High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Pay: $20/hr
