Responsibilities & Duties:
- Create and maintain produce displays while ensuring freshness and quality.
- Provide outstanding customer service, offering recommendations and expert knowledge of seasonal and locally sourced produce.
- Assist guests by suggestively selling products and sharing insights on their origins, flavors, and uses.
- Unload deliveries, break down pallets, manage inventory, and stock shelves efficiently.
- Prepare and cut produce as needed for displays and sales.
- Utilize basic knife skills for trimming and prepping produce.
- Ensure proper product rotation and restocking to maintain quality to Red Horse Market standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to the demands of a busy market.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards throughout every shift.
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a guest-focused approach, always striving to exceed expectations.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience handling produce in restaurants, markets, farms, or food-related industries.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Capability to lift, push, and pull 20-50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing demands.
- Passion for fresh food, excellent teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic.
