What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge position at Red Hospitality & Leisure Key West Llc?
Compensation includes 12% commission
Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing service at the Hotel Concierge Desk
Providing guests with area information dining, land and water activities, transportation, sightseeing, etc.
Initiate and follow up with guests requests received in person and through other communications
Confirming guest requests and reservations
Booking guests onto excursions
Researching and providing guests with additional information as requested by the guest
Communicating guest resolutions with appropriate Staff/Departments on property
Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Management Team
Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or its' equivalent from an accredited institution (Preferred)
Previous experience in customer service, concierge and/or equivalent work experience a PLUS
Must be able to walk on various types of surfaces including rough terrain, sitting, standing, maintaining balance, and working alone.
Must be able to work various work settings such as exposure to sunlight and outside temperature.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all persons contacted during the work.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulations and safe practices.
Ability to operate assigned equipment, read and interpret documents.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely.
Must be able to operate with little or no supervision.
Must be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude.
Team Player, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Knowledge of local destinations
