Client is a specialized dairy products company in the Midwest. We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for their facility in Southern Wisconsin. The successful candidate will work closely with plant leaders and floor employees to boost organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. Your responsibilities include overseeing key HR functions such as staffing, employee relations, performance management, and workers' compensation, while also recommending process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with plant leaders to understand business objectives, provide HR guidance, and build strong relationships with employees on the production floor.
- Drive organizational change by executing HR initiatives, supporting employees during transitions, and ensuring clear communication.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts to maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, guiding management and staff on HR policies, conflict resolution, and employee advocacy.
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and coaching managers for effective feedback.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees at all levels.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a food manufacturing setting.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with HR certification considered a plus.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and the MS Office suite.
- A strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish, a plus!
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
