Duties
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the daycare setting.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring all areas are safe for children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
- Assist with meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Manage behavioral issues with positive reinforcement techniques.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a daycare or similar childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
- Ability to lift and move equipment or materials as needed for activities.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus for transporting equipment or supplies.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation or warehouse settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
- A valid driver's license is required; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles is advantageous.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
- A passion for working with children and fostering their development is essential.
