Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education.
- Provide attentive care to infants and preschoolers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
- Educate children through play-based learning, encouraging curiosity and exploration.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and behavior management techniques.
- Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- A background in infant care is beneficial for this role.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
