Key Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside the landscaping team to install and maintain gardens, green spaces, and outdoor common areas.
- Ensure proper planting, pruning, mulching, and fertilization practices for a thriving landscape year-round.
- Oversee irrigation system operation and troubleshoot any issues to maintain plant health.
- Train and mentor team members on proper landscaping techniques and best practices.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to source plants, materials, and tools for projects.
- Monitor job sites to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.
- Implement sustainable landscaping practices, including water conservation and responsible plant selection.
- Communicate with community members about landscape improvements and maintenance schedules.
- Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a hands-on role.
- Strong knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Comfortable with physical outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
