Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of front-of-house staff including scheduling, training, and general supervision
- Oversee that all opening and closing duties are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained
- Responsible for the correct operation of the POS systems
- Balancing of all daily and nightly cash drawers and POS systems
- Training and developing servers, bartenders, host, all FOH positions
- Inventory and maintenance for front of house items and those used within the establishment as well as letting Chef know when to order supplies
- Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards in their area
- Handle guest complaints according to provided guidelines
- Must be able to assist in ensuring all systems are functioning at optimal levels to ensure entry, receiving, and inventory control.
- Monitoring operations, resolving issues, and implementing policies and regulations
- Ensuring high-quality service, effective cost management, and guest satisfaction.
- Must be able to update and track daily reports as assigned by the General Manager
- Assist with vendor partnerships to ensure all professional relationships optimize costs and meet expectations with respect to service and the bottom line of the business
- Work with the General Manager and Marketing Director on new marketing concepts and ideas and to make sure all campaigns are executed effectively and in a timely manner
- Will report to and will receive other responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Able to work 50 hours a week
- 4 years of Management experience
- 1 year of beverage ordering and inventory management preferred
- Must have a strong financial understanding and proven ability to successfully interpret and manage P/L
- A strong knowledge of wine and spirits
- Strong communication skills
- Microsoft Proficient
