Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Captain to lead and oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations, including a full-service restaurant, bar, and banquet/event space. This leadership role requires a hands-on manager with a passion for hospitality, an eye for detail, and a proven track record of driving service excellence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and banquet events.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality food and beverage service across all outlets.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in all food and beverage areas.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and culinary team to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
Banquets & Events
- Work with sales/events team to plan and execute private events, banquets, and group functions.
- Manage banquet staff schedules, setup, service, and breakdown of events.
- Ensure proper staffing and equipment are in place for all events
Team Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, banquet staff, and supervisors.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, hospitality, accountability, and professionalism.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and labor control.
Financial & Administrative
- Monitor and manage food and beverage budgets, cost controls, and inventory.
- Analyze sales and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
- Maintain vendor relationships and oversee beverages, and supplies.
Guest Experience
- Respond to guest feedback and resolve complaints with professionalism and urgency.
- Continuously look for ways to elevate service and enhance the overall dining and event experience.
