What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server/Bartender position at Red Mesa Group?
Part-Time, weekdays, week nights, and weekends. Work is dependent upon event bookings, and staff will need to fill both server & bartender roles as applicable for specific events .
The uniform is black non-slip shoes, pants, long sleeve button up shirt, black belt, suspenders (we will provide these).
Red Mesa Events in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida is looking for banquet servers and bartenders who are capable of working in a fast-paced and team-friendly environment. Banquet servers must be able to handle taking food/drink orders of tables of any size at any given time, and be comfortable working a variety of events including weddings, private parties, corporate events, and non-profit fundraisers. Proper food and drink serving etiquette are required. ServSafe certification is a plus but will be provided if necessary. At Red Mesa Events, we strive to give our customers outstanding service, in a fun, downtown environment. Banquet server’s duties and requirements include but are not limited to:
- Proper clean uniform must be maintained at all times
- Must have a working knowledge of proper serving etiquette
- Must be able to carry trays of food/drinks of any size at any given time
- Able to carry out proper opening/closing cleaning procedures to completion
- Able to comply with all food safety procedures
