Summary :
The System Support Administrator is an entry-level position, which will support all IT infrastructure for Red Mile employees and patrons. They will complete tasks that arise during day-to-day operations of the various computer systems and hardware. They will provide on-site administration for software users in a variety of work environments. They will occasionally participate in documentation and infrastructure improvement projects, as coordinated by IT leadership.
Essential Duties :
- Investigate, research, diagnose and repair IT hardware and software failures / issues. Document all findings / repairs via ticket system.
- Move and install computer hardware, software, audio-visual equipment, printers, phones, and other technology.
- Provide frontline preventive and corrective maintenance of desktop systems, printers, phones, network infrastructure, enterprise applications, audio-visual equipment, and other technology.
- Perform basic fiber / ethernet network and RF troubleshooting
- Provision user access accounts in various IT systems, according to department standards.
- Provide technical training for end users regarding computer and application use and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation according to department standards.
- Serve as a liaison between end users and IT leadership to suggest system improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
